They have been chosen to be made available to readers of this website based on three criteria: they have a strong theory/research-into-practice orientation, they represent current views about thinking and teaching thinking, and their authors are recognized in the field as leading experts with certified credentials (many from distinguished academic institutions). We have tried to make this list as comprehensive as possible. Otherwise, we have kept neutral on matters of content and the perspective/point of view of the author. In doing this we hope that by exploring a variety of points of view on teaching thinking, readers will exercise both the open mindedness and the wise criticial judgment typical of good thinkers.
